As the only trade association dedicated exclusively to the kitchen and bath industry, NKBA is the leading source of information and education for all professionals.
NKBA aids industry professionals through NKBA University and professional development courses that raise the bar for kitchen and bath professionals. In addition, NKBA offers certifications in design for individuals that pass written exams and who prove themselves through years of experience. These programs ensure our businesses will have a strong talent pool in the future. With more than 50 chapters throughout the United States and Canada, our association acts as the glue that holds the industry together with peer networking from community to community.
Consumers
The National Kitchen and Bath Association is a growing non-profit trade association with more than 36,000 members. We’ve led the kitchen and bath industry for over 40 years by providing resources for consumers and industry professionals. Not only does NKBA host the world’s largest trade show, the Kitchen/Bath Industry Show & Conference (K/BIS) and offer educational programs, but we also enhance the success of our members by promoting professionalism and ethical business practices. In order to benefit consumers, our association monitors national and state legislation to protect the industry, our members and consumers.

NKBA Kitchen and Bath Designer Certifications are based on written examinations

skills through ongoing education and professional development.
